Competition – Win the chance to Fire the Fort Lytton Cannon this year, we are giving two (2) lucky online ticket purchasers the opportunity to fire one of Fort Lytton’s mounted 64-Pounder Cannons, receive a Free Professional Photograph of themself with the Cannon & its Crew plus a Complimentary Weekend Family Pass to History Alive in 2019. To be in the draw, all you have to do is purchase your tickets to History Alive 2018 online no later than 10:00 pm, Friday, June 8th 2018. One (1) Winner will be drawn on each day during the festival at midday. The winner will fire the Cannon during the 1:00 pm Programmed Firing session. The winner must be on site to claim the prize. Due to the nature of the prize, rainchecks and refunds are not possible.
Family Tickets are for two (2) Adults and up to four (4) Children.
Children’s Tickets include Primary and High School aged Children (aged 13-17, upon display of Student ID).
Concession Tickets are for Holders of current concession cards (Pensioners and other similar valid concessional IDs).

Group bookings are always welcome! If you would like to bring a Group of 15 people or more, please contact us to organise a discounted Group Rate.
We honour Carer Companion Cards. Please display your Queensland Carer Companion ID Card at the Gate.
Companion Dogs are welcome at History Alive. But please let us know in advance if you will be bringing a Companion Dog. This is because History Alive is held at Fort Lytton, a National Park, where animals are prohibited. Therefore, Queensland Department of National Parks and Wildlife Services request prior notification of the attendance of Companion Dogs at History Alive.
The gates open at 9:30 am each day and, at 10:00 am, the Program goes off with a Bang!
